Being active is a very important factor in the prevention of many diseases. The risk of various illnesses at any age is significantly reduced by sufficient physical activity. In addition, cardiovascular risk factors, such as high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol levels (LDL), body weight and diabetes mellitus are positively influenced. However, before starting to exercise as a beginner or re-entrant, a sports medical health check-up is compulsory in order to identify potential risk factors in advance. Based on the results of this examination, we will compose an individualized training regimen, supporting you to achieve your health- and exercise-related goals.
When is an examination necessary?
- You are over 30 years old and want to start exercising
- You suffer from previous diseases and want to resolve any risk factors before reengaging in physical activity
- You smoke or have smoked and want to exercise
- You suffer from orthopaedic problems and want to exercise (e.g back pain, joint pain)
